A crossbody bag with the leash system built in. One strap over your shoulder, one clip for the dog, both hands back where they belong.

Rated for dogs up to 60 pounds, with margin to spare. Zinc alloy clip, nylon webbing. Tested daily by dogs who saw a squirrel.
The strap never clips to the bag. It runs through it, one continuous loop from buckle to buckle. A lunge loads the strap, never a seam. There is nothing to snap off, because nothing is attached.
The strap adjusts from 28 to 50 inches. Snug at the waist, still snug at a jog. Worn crossbody or over the shoulder, it sits close and stays put.
Nothing neon, nothing that reads as dog gear. Without the leash it is just a good bag.

from the first walks
Walked to the farmers market, got coffee, hit the pet store. Hands free the whole time, and the treats were right there when a skateboard went by.
It doesn't bounce when I jog, and it doesn't look like dog gear when I'm not jogging. I wear it to brunch without the leash.
My puller put the clip to the test for a month. The strap hasn't budged and neither has he, which is new.
